In this keynote talk to illuminate our conference theme - Addressing Disparity: A Way Forward - Resmaa Menakem, author, justice leader, and expert on conflict mediation and self-care, will discuss and define the theory of racialized trauma. He will share his insights on how historical, inter-generational, persistent institutional and personal inequities have impacted each of us and led to a decontextualized and internalized white body supremacy trauma we all carry in our bodies and unknowingly perpetuate in our culture.

Resmaa Menakem, MSW, LICSW, SEP, is an author, international speaker, justice coach, and expert on conflict mediation and self-care.
